Erratum

Article Outline

Erratum to the article by Maciosek MV, Coffield AB, Edwards NM, Goodman MJ, Flottemesch TJ, Solberg LI. Priorities among effective clinical preventive services: results of a systematic review and analysis. Am J Prev Med 2006;31(1):52–61.

Footnote “a” in Table 2 should read less than or equal to 50% not greater than or equal to 50%.

The service, Problem Drinking Screening and Brief Counseling, is listed with a CE score of 4 rather than the correct score of 5 due to a miscalculated base-case estimate. And because scores are determined on a relative basis, the CE score for the service Pneumococcal Immunization is changed from 5 to 4 with the correction to the estimate of Problem Drinking Screening. The conclusions that both Problem Drinking Screening and Pneumococcal Immunization are very cost-effective and perhaps cost-savings remain unchanged.

The authors, editors, and publisher regret any inconvenience this has caused the readers.
