Data for urban densities and fatal vehicle crashes per 100,000 are based on Primary Metropolitan Statistical Areas (PMSA) as previously defined by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. Greenhouse gases per capita is for the core cities of each PMSA, and percent of population overweight or obese is for the current Metropolitan Statistical Areas.
